The Favela Project is a not-for-profit organization that uses soccer as a vehicle for positive change in the lives of children in some of Brazil's poorest urban areas.

• The Favela Project will conduct events in Favelas in Brazil that will include soccer matches or clinics, donations of clothing, soccer apparel, soccer equipment, and other items.

• The Favela Project will provide scholarships for American soccer players to go on Brazilian Touch Soccer Tours with their teams or organizations. These scholarships will be available for anyone who qualifies and will include participation in Favela Project programs in Brazil.

As a part of Soccer Without Borders, The Favela Project will help to achieve the mission of the organization in some of areas of Brazil where it is needed most.
